Shipments and returns
Product prices are not marked up to allow for subsidised shipping, so shipping charges are at cost, and include packaging costs.
Orders are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment, except where custom items are ordered. Dispatch of custom orders will vary according to the custom list at the time, but should be within a maximum of 4 weeks. If it will be longer you will be advised.
Please choose shipping according to the value of your order.
If you choose a shipping option for less than the value of your order, we will not take responsibility for losses over and above the amounts shown. If you are not offered an appropriate option, please contact us
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Shipping costs vary according to total weight, destination and value of the order and are calculated according to the best information at the time. If you want full protection, please select the shipping option which covers the value of your parcel. If a parcel gets lost in transit, you will only be covered fully if you have selected the correct option for the value of your order. If you request to add an item to an existing order before shipment, this may require adjustment of the shipping cost.
We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, unless you select the bank transfer option for payment for at least one of the orders you'd like to group. Otherwise shipping fees will apply to each of them. However, for very large orders, making two separate orders may mean that different shipping options can be used and it could possibly make your overall shipping costs lower, so do check this out.
If you return anything, please always get and keep a proof of posting. Please always send a note stating the order number and reason for return, with any returned items.

A note about packaging.
To keep shipping costs down and for item protection, some orders or items may be packed in plastic. To keep plastic footprint to a minimum, I re-use plastic packaging as much as possible, and use recyclable film or ziploc bags whenever possible, if plastic film is necessary. If you would like your order packed without plastic, please contact me for a shipping price, as weights and sizes will vary according to packaging options.
